Durtnell was the appointed partnership contractor to build starter homes for key workers in Kent.

The first scheme was constructed on land at the Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School and provided eight one bedroom units and two, two bedroom units.

The energy efficient, L-shaped timber framed building had a slated pitched roof and was clad in green stained weatherboarding.
