Durtnell undertook the refurbishment and extension of a terrace of Grade II listed buildings to provide high quality office accommodation in Central London.
The refurbishment included new lifts, heating, air conditioning, structured cabling for voice and data, security systems, fully fitted kitchens, toilets and showers. Wooden panelling was repaired or replicated and new marble flooring laid.
Durtnell originally became involved in the scheme in 1997 after winning Phase II in a competitive tender. Subsequently the company negotiated a further three phases, working with the client, Grosvenor Estates and architect, Moxley Architects, as a problem-solving team.
