» St Martin’s Church, Brasted

Durtnell restored and refurbished St Martin's following a major fire which destroyed a large proportion of the building.

Rebuilding works included a new roof - faceted vault supported by arched timber beams, restoration of the painted ceiling of the Stocket Chapel, new clerestory windows, new zonal heating system and audio system, a new Parish Room, kitchen and lavatory.

Durtnell Joinery supplied English oak panelling and fitments and was later commissioned to build a new oak lychgate for the church.
